The Fakenham-based, nationwide training and management consultancy, People Focus (Europe), has gained Approved Centre status from the Institute of the Motor Industry for the delivery of management training towards National Vocational Qualifications.

Managing Director of People Focus (Europe), Steve Askew said, "Both People Focus and the IMI seek to raise standards of professionalism within the UK motor industry and we are prepared to lead by example."

In meeting the criteria for IMI Approved Centre status, People Focus consultants are studying for NVQ Assessor and Verifier awards.

Lead External Verifier for the IMI, Mark Bartle said, "We are delighted to be working in partnership with People Focus which shares the IMI's focus on improving management practices within the industry through appropriate training and qualifications."

The recognition by the IMI comes hot on the heels of People Focus (Europe) winning a Honda Award for Innovation in Training.
